What is Boot Camp?

All New Skaters Start Here.

Boot Camp is an introduction to basic skating skills, as well as an introduction to the basic fundamentals of roller derby. If you are concerned that roller derby isn't your thing, don't worry. This class really is about skating skills with some roller derby skills mixed in. We will also be introducing the game of roller derby... and who knows... maybe you will find out you like it after all!

There is no intentional contact at this level but we do introduce the foundations of roller derby. This is where skaters learn fundamental skating skills and the basic form,  stride, stops, falls, and jumps necessary to skate and play the game of derby.

Get all the basic skills you need to safely enjoy roller skating!

Get a chance to skate with Sick Town roller derby skaters!

Have fun while you strengthen, tone, and rebalance your body.

this boot camp class is only available to skaters over age 18.
